In 1991, Xicom Technology was founded to address the market need for highly efficient, compact Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTAs). In responding to this call, we engineered a product line that is now a mainstay in the Satellite Community: Antenna-Mount High Power Amplifiers.

The innovative spirit that led to this technological breakthrough has resulted in numerous others. The use of dual-stage collector traveling wave tubes & power factor correction (now industry standards) were instituted at Xicom.

Our latest product line of Klystron Power Amplifiers is a further reflection of our commitment to technological excellence. Xicom's KPAs weigh 300 pounds and are ½ the height of conventional units.

The need for Xicom Technology's High Power Amplifiers (HPAs) has never been greater. Demand for bandwidth is driving Internet service providers to seek satellite technology powered by reliable, efficient amplifiers. As a result, we have experienced phenomenal growth, between 50-100% per year, driving us to move our operations to larger facilities in order to accommodate increased capacity. In March of 1998 we moved to a 22,000 sq. ft facility where we received ISO 9001 Certification from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance and in June of 2000, we relocated to a 48,000 sq. ft. facility.

For over 15 years since our inception, we have inaugurated technologies that have forever reshaped the satellite communications landscape. We will continue to do so and look forward to meeting the challenges of our industry in the dawn of a new millennium.
