Job Summary:
Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows method sheets and assembly drawings in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to drawing specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Performs inspection of all materials and documentation prior to performing assigned task.
  • Assembles power supplies, controllers, microwave tube amplifiers, solid state power amplifiers and other electrical equipment
  • Makes crimp connections on cables.

Responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from verbal inputs, sketches, layouts, or notes provided by engineering. Summary:
The Engineering Administrative Assistant will provide primary administrative support to the Director of Engineering and other managers.

Job Summary:
Responsible for the management of a variety of documentation engineering services functions which could include document control, technical publications, product life cycle management, business process development or similar engineering and business support activities. Ensures the timely, thorough and accurate completion of all projects. Supports the preparation of new or modified designs. Ensures documentation packages are accurate and complete. Manages the activities of product documentation. Uses the MRP system to produce and maintain engineering/manufacturing documentation such as drawings, bills of material, parts list specifications, and engineering change orders. Ensures that master drawing files and history files are accurate and current, and that effective control is maintained over drawings and other document records.

Works from preliminary schematics, bills of materials, and basic description of the board function, configuration, and arrangement as defined by engineering. Perform checking of design layouts and detailed drawings related to printed circuit boards and assemblies. Take active role in continuous improvements to design standards and practices.

Sr. Power Supply Design Engineer (Req. #08-007)

Job Summary:
Responsibilities - Responsible for product design and validation, including documentation, evaluation and deployment of products.  Responsible for working closely with planning, procurement, manufacturing, engineering, design/drafting, assembly, test and production personnel in the development, design, validation and deployment of cost effective, reliable products.  Also responsible for modification, validation and deployment of the design changes of existing products.  Analyzes and specifies equipment to establish solutions to complex problems.  Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects and specifies components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability criteria. Also reviews vendor capabilities and makes vendor recommendations.  Responsible for oral and written presentations, project planning, design reviews and reports for customers, colleagues and management. 
Knowledge - As an expert in the field, uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters.
Job Complexity - Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.  Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.  Contacts pertain to significant matters often involving coordination among groups.
Supervision - Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new special assignments.  May supervise the activities of others.
Experience - Requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience.

QA Manager (Req. #08-012)

Job Summary:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems and activities. Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Personally drives the company cross-functionally to meet its quality objectives.
  • Manages Quality Coordinator, Quality Control (QC) and Quality Engineering (QE) calibration functions.
  • Develops strong teams for C/A P/A reliability and major programs as required.
  • Manages team members' effectiveness, job satisfaction, career development, performance evaluations, etc.
  • Explains company policies and regulations to subordinates, maintains effective personnel relationships, and recommends changes in employee status.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with key customers, including reports of quality and performance where warranted. Augments marketing activities with QA presentations as required.
  • Establishes, maintains and enforces effective cross functional departmental processes.
  • Continuous improvement of company's quality system.
  • Manages the company-wide internal audit and spot check programs.
  • Leads the company's corrective/preventive action program.
  • Leads the supplier quality management programs.
